During this workshop, participants will explore basic field methods in archaeology, including surface survey and shovel testing (two ways archaeologists dig for artifacts!). This workshop is taught by Dr. Jeremy Nienow, a professional archaeologist. Each participant receives a notebook with materials. This is the fifth in a series of six workshops that run until May 2017 (need not have participated in previous workshops to attend). Participation is FREE, but registration is required.
