  • Scott County Historical Society 235 Fuller Street South Shakopee, MN, 55379 United States (map)

This event has been canceled for July 18, 2022. Please contact SCHS with any questions. We hope to see you at another event!

Join SCHS for a special guest speaker and children’s story focusing on the role of the rebozo!

Blanca Guzman, Learning & Outreach Specialist for the Scott County Library, will be reading the children’s book, “What Can You Do With a Rebozo?”, by Carmen Tafolla. She will also sharing about her own rebozo, currently on display at SCHS as part of Celebrate!

A rebozo is a shawl used by Mexican women for many different purposes throughout their lifetimes. Have your kids come and learn more (and you along with them!) about this unique garment!
