Our staff and volunteers are here to help you with your research or family history project! To start a research request, simply complete the form below. A staff member will be in touch shortly to confirm your request and give you an estimated cost and time frame. Most research requests can be completed within one month.
In order to cover the cost of your request, the Scott County Historical Society charges a fee of $15.00 per hour of research time. This fee includes an emailed PDF with the results of your research. If you need a printed copy of the research results, we will add a fee of $0.25 per page plus shipping costs. We will give you a complete estimate of all costs before we begin.
